Manuel Canovas
founded his fabric house in 1963. His love of textiles and
knowledge of painting are evident in his design, as is his
ability to combine the precision of a draughtsman with the
instinct of a colorist. In September 2002, Manuel Canovas

Souleiado is a re-known name in the Provencal
fabrics. Souleiado means in old provencal "A ray of sun
shining through the clouds after a rain". Charles Demery
inherited 40,000 carved blocks of original design used to print
the "indiennes" (East Indies cotton introduced in
France in the early 1600's). He started the Souleiado collection
from this treasure and the Souleiado prints are now popular
all over the world. Five designs so far have been updated to
meet the American standard for quality: 200 thread counts
(French percale) of beautiful heavy and soft cotton.
Flat sheet, fitted sheet, duvet cover: twin, queen, and king.
Pillow case: standard and king (all cases are made with the
reversible cloth of the duvet cover).
Pillow sham: standard, king, European, boudoir (all shams
are made with the main design of the duvet cover).
